Jo Flick is the Montana State Library’s training and development specialist and coordinator for the MSL Certification Program. Jo holds a MS Ed in instructional systems technology from Indiana University (Bloomington). Prior to joining the MSL staff in Spring 2011, Jo was marketing and training professional for the Agency for Instructional Technology (Bloomington, IN), and previous to that, she served as director of educational services and a producer/director for Mountain Lake PBS in Plattsburgh NY. She has been adjunct faculty for Clinton Community College and Blackfeet Community College. Her work includes published articles and presentations at many statewide and national conferences, instructional materials to teach professional development, science, language arts, social studies and contributions to two academic books on instructional technology. Jo has three decades of experience designing and delivering learning opportunities to diverse, non-traditional audiences. At the Montana State Library, Jo oversees training events and works with other trainers to develop self-paced learning materials, manuals, and lots of Webinars.
